How Do I Upload A Course as an Instructor?

What does a typical Emergency Responder Academy Course look like?
This is completely up to you! Our focus is solely on hosting courses that don't suck and are relevant to emergency responders and your specific target market. At a minimum, courses must be at least 10 minutes long and have no less than 70% video lessons but this can include voice overs on slide decks (powerpoint or Google slides etc).
How should I price my course?
We can work directly with you to craft a plan that compensates you for what you are worth! At times budget and finances in emergency services can be tough but we truly believe if you have an amazing class then you should be rewarded for your hard work & effort. Maybe you want to provide a free course or donate your proceeds to charity? We can make all of this happen so reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll work this all out there.
How long are students able to access my course?
Once your course is purchased, the student has access based on your terms. This could be a limited amount of time or lifetime access. This is completely up to you.
Who owns the content?
Never us, we are just a distribution channel. All the content on Emergencyresponderacademy.com is 100% owned by the provider of the content, usually the instructor who created and posted it.
What does Emergencyresponderacademy.com do to promote my course?
We use social media, search, and partnership with FirefighterCraftsmanship.com to drive students to your course. We also focus on enabling our instructors to successfully promote their courses via affiliate links.
Are there any costs associated with creating a course on Emergencyresponderacademy.com?
Not at all! Creating a course is entirely free for our instructors. We'll handle all the customer service, payment processing and hosting fees using our arrangement with a Learning Management System.
If you send a student to your course hosted on Emergencyresponderacademy.com using your affiliate link, then 90% of the revenue (minus standard transaction fees) will be yours! For students brought to your course through our marketing efforts, we split the sale 80/20 – you receive 80%, we get 20%. Emergencyresponderacademy.com also will do a special introductory split of 90% to you as the instructor and 10% to us for the first 2 weeks of your course launch regardless of where the course registration originates from! This includes pre-sales.
What's Emergencyresponderacademy.com's refund policy for students?
We require a minimum of 30 day money back guarantees. No questions asked. Yep even if the student completes the course. You can't control if a student is a douche but you can control if your class is absolutely awesome. Bring your knowledge and trust that people are genuinely good. If you have an issue with a student or have to process a refund please keep us in the loop because there's no rules saying we can't ban a student from accessing courses on our site.
